Sometimes the best part of a festival is when you get free samples! Imagine strolling by the candy apple cart and being handed a delicious treat… or standing in line to go on haunted hayride when a wicked witch pops by with a mug of cider and a s’more. This got me thinking recently… what am I going to give out as a free sample when I participate in my first book fair next month?
Yes, you heard that correctly… I’m actually doing my first public appearance at a book signing and fair on Long Island. I’ll share more details about it in the coming week, as I’d love to see fans and bloggers I’ve only ever chatted with online. That said, I’ll be sharing bookmarks with visitors who stop by my booth to learn more about my books and me. I’ve been working on the design for a few weeks and finally settled on a two-sided 2 by 6 bookmark. Many thanks to everyone who helped me design them (Shalini, Winston & Roda). As the subject for today’s post indicates, I have another surprise for you. We’ve been working hard in the background to create a new format for readers and LISTENERS to enjoy my books. Not only can you read them on Kindle or as a paperback, we now have large print and audiobook options. You can even listen to samples of the audiobooks. There is also a rumor that there will be a few giveaways for audiobooks in the near future too. Let’s hope the lovable little creature below doesn’t eat them all!

What is the Braxton Fall Festival?
For the entire month of October 2019, we are celebrating three events: (1) Autumn, (2) Halloween, (3) Haunted House Ghost, the fifth book released in the Braxton Campus Mysteries by author James J. Cudney. Each day, we will share a post to promote the new book with readers and fans. Throughout the 31 days, we will have guest posts, excerpts, giveaways, contests, videos, blog tours, and other surprises. You can currently purchase the book from Amazon as a Kindle or a physical copy. In the near future, it will be available in large print and as an audiobook.
