Braxton’s Fall Festival: Day 19 – Blog Tour Wrap Up for Haunted House Ghost

Braxton’s Fall Festival – What’s Happening Today?

Welcome to Braxton’s Fall Festival. Today we’re celebrating the launch of Haunted House Ghost with a thirty-one (31) day virtual festival, where we share the scoop on all the exciting book promotions coming up this month. Who’s ready for…

Great Escapes hosted a 14-day blog tour from October 1st through October 14th. Throughout the two weeks, we shared author interviews, character guest posts, and giveaways. Congratulations to the two winners:

  • Kindle Copy: Debra B
  • Physical Copy: Julie P

Participating in a blog tour is one of my favorite things to do when marketing a new book. I get to meet new readers, develop relationships with fellow authors, and share cute messages from the characters or me. It’s an extension of the book and the world I’ve created, but it’s also a fun way to advertise the series. I am beyond grateful to Lori at Great Escapes for this huge success. You can read posts from all ~25 participants below. Some shared reviews, others shared their own special content. Check out some of the best quotes from this tour:

QUOTES

This book reads beautifully as a stand-alone, but it is its own advertisement for reading the rest of the series. I don’t have a lot of favorite authors, but James J. Cudney may just have made the list.
~I Read What You Write

Within the pages of HAUNTED HOUSE GHOST, the author laid out a mystery that was attention holding, and not easy to solve.
~Lisa Ks Book Reviews

The culprit reveal is as brilliant and glorious, the build-up is spectacularly done and the dramatic effect is spot-on! I loved the wrap-up which is filled to the brim with fun, cozy atmosphere, and I could totally feel the festive vibe that comes with Halloween!
~Diary of a Book Fiend

Twists, red herrings, characters in and out of suspicion as Kellan attempts to herd his youngsters, plan his lessons and provide his lectures, and ferret out leads of persons to interrogate (that is, interview) in his quest to find the answers to multiple questions. You can guess, but you probably won’t be right.
~Rosepoint Publishing

I thoroughly enjoy this series. Kellan Ayrwick is a great protagonist who constantly finds dead bodies and ends up helping to solve the mystery behind the murders.
~Carla Loves To Read

We get to know more of the characters in this book, which is always good. The characters in the Braxton Campus series are well-rounded and complex. They’re well thought out and fun to read about.
~Valerie’s Musings

Kudos to the author for making me second guess my thought on who was the murderer—multiple times right up to the reveal. Overall, an enjoyable cozy mystery.
~Diane Reviews Books

This was a great Halloween centered cozy mystery, and I can’t wait to go back an read all of Kellen’s past adventures.
