Braxton’s Fall Festival: Day 25 – Candace (Guest Post – Music Playlist)

Braxton’s Fall Festival – What’s Happening Today?

Welcome to Braxton’s Fall Festival. Today we’re celebrating the launch of Haunted House Ghost with a thirty-one (31) day virtual festival, where we share the scoop on all the exciting book promotions coming up this month. Who’s ready for…

Our fantastic month-long Fall Festival wouldn’t be complete unless we heard from some of the amazing people who’ve been part of my writing life for the last two years. One of those people is our GUEST POSTER today, and she and I share a similar obsession with so many similar things. Our taste in movies, books, songs, and holidays is almost identical, and when we see each other posting something, it’s almost like — “Wait, did I post that?” Of course, we have some differences too, but we’re both huge 80s fans which simply says it all. I’m leaving it up to this wonderful author to provide today’s content. Without any further ado, I turn this post over to our guest who has prepared a music playlist of songs to accompany Haunted House Ghost.

See below what the author, James “Jay,” and his character, Kellan, have to say about the list! — Candace Robinson @literarydust

#1  “Monster Mash” – Bobby Pickett

Jay: I definitely remember dancing to this as a kid at a middle school Halloween event. It kind of makes me think about doing the Thriller dance too. I used to bust some good moves, but those days are in the dust. I have enough energy to workout and chase the dog around. Dancing just ain’t possible these days.

Kellan: Emma has this on repeat all the time! My seven-year-old daughter loves Halloween and jumping out of closets to scare me. Last time she put this on, even Baxter went hiding under her bed. I think the chorus in the background gives him the willies!

This musical playlist was originally posted on Candace’s blog. Please be sure to stop by and visit her too. Candace Robinson is also an author, and I’ve read almost all of her books. I’m excited for her next release, which is being published this fall. Depending on when I get my copy, the review might already be ready. For now, please check her dedicated author page on my blog for more details. I’m honored she volunteered to take the lead for a day, and I hope you enjoyed visiting us both at Braxton’s Fall Festival.

Cudney. Each day, we will share a post to promote the new book with readers and fans. Throughout the 31 days, we will have guest posts, excerpts, giveaways, contests, videos, blog tours, and other surprises.
